The Kasuti lamp is a 3D printed lamp inspired by the geometric motifs used in Kasuti embroidery from Karnataka. Made using 100% recycled PLA filament. Made to order.

The Kasuti lamp applies the principles of Kasuti embroidery, where a single thread is used to create geometric patterns on textiles, these patterns and motifs often represent animals, cultural objects and describe folklore. We wanted to recontextualise the motifs into a tangible, tactile product. Our motif represents geometric flower patterns often found in temples across Karnataka.
